It is a non-profit and independent applied research organization which mission
aims to help members from business, government, and public-sector organizations
to anticipate and take advantage of the changing global economy by creating and

performance. The Conference Board of Canada was formed in 1954, and is
affiliated with The Conference Board, Inc. that serves some 3,000 companies in
67 nations.

TICO (Travel Industry of Ontario)
This self-managed and non-profit corporation administers the Ontario Travel
Industry Act.
TICO governs approximately 3,000 travel retails and wholesalers registered in
Ontario.
Its mission supports paralleling that one of the Ontario Ministry of Consumer
and Business Services (MCBS) to promote a fair and informed marketplace offering
consumers confidence in their travel purchases.

and suppliers such as airlines, hotels, destination marketing organizations,
cruise and rail lines, and automobile rental companies. We represent the
